His inconsistencies drive people nuts because he can't be pinned down. I notice he has been a lot more combative since he got rid of his old producer. I also note that one night during coverage of one of the primaries when they were all getting wacky, he said his bosses at MSNBC supported the war. There was also a reporter on CNN last night who used to work at MSNBC who said that her bosses were heavy handed in forming a positive opinion for and of the war.

As for Plame, CM and Shuster were the best. There are still unanswered questions for we know that on that Friday when there were rumors that Rove was going to be indicted that CM had prepared to devote his entire show to it. I'd love to know what really happened. We know about the Novak woman coming forward at the last minute, but was that it, was that enough to stop it?
