Now, it was possible simply to lose because the voters were made to feel afraid or whatever. The day before the election, the TV ads were nothing but Wright and "Goddamn America." That would have been bad. If it was actually stolen, it would tell me that we were entering a new imperial era where the will of the people was irrelevent in a way that it had not been before. I still would have voted, though.
