He never dodged the press. Not once.

And the Ireland stuff always impressed me. I've been there and they just love him.

Remember the speech King Hussein gave at the end of his last trip to DC to see Bubba? That was an amazing speech about how much the world loved Clinton, how he appreciated that Clinton did more than ANY predecessor to get Mid-East peace, and he-Hussein-had worked with every president since Eisenhower. He extended regards and praise from Mandella to Clinton as well.

I regret that Bubba didn't have his press conferences on in prime time and more folks would see how super smart he is. I saw him as the only guest on the Letterman show a few years back and he was very impressive.

But, from the get-go, I saw that it was conservative DEMOCRATS that prevented him from being a more progressive president.
