... if he can justify not taking someone at their word by using his religion as protection.

When someone tells you they are gay, you can either accept that or not.

What Warren and his ilk are doing is ignoring real people living in the world to protect his fragile beliefs.

Those beliefs include denying scientific evidence that people are born gay, that gay people can live to adulthood and gays make up more than 2% of the population.

His faith says man shall not lie down with man as with woman, whatever else he attaches to that is his own invention. And, he invents whatever he needs to justify his hatred.
