80. Rachel Maddow was absolutely right. "This is not good"
Which is exactly the point!

If you insulate yourself from reality and surround yourself with manipulating yes-men "underlings" that are actually running the whole show behind your back, you'll never know when something you do it wrong, illegal, unconstitutional, or evil.

Not only did Bush do this, but his personality is narcassistic and self-centered as well, which doubles the effect.

This was probably the only, ONLY time he had any actual feedback on how Americans feel about him.

The crowd on The Mall wasn't hand-selected. DC is smack dab between North and South, the predominately Blue and the Predominately Red. There COULD have been just as many conservatives there to see him go as liberals were to see Obama come.

But there weren't. 90% of the crowd was there to cheer Obama AND jeer Bush.

Nobody supports him. Hell, there weren't enough conservatives in the crowd to simply be silent and dilute the singing.

For a brief minutes, this got to him.

I'm sure that on the plane ride home his personality locked away and rationalized this in his mind. He'll never "get it". But for a brief minute...
