39. This looks terrible but I guess I'll go see it...
It seems to really violate/ignore all the established history and mythology of the previous 5 series and 10 movies and just make up its own storyline and "rules".
If you are going do a sequel or a prequel you need to work within a framework, not trash 90% of it and re-do it.
The main draw for me will be that it will have Winona Ryder in it.
I hope I'm wrong. Brannon and Braga don't seem to have any role in ST-XI.
I suspect this will be like the remake of Planet of the Apes or like the stinky "second trilogy" of Star Wars that should never have been made because it was so much worse than the original Star Wars trilogy.
