Raised ultra-fundamentalist in the Deep South. I think it was just too much for too long and my mind ended up rejecting it en toto. Of my peers about half became like me and about half remained militant true-believers. But half of 12 kids is still a lot more than progressive families are producing. Their timeline might be longer than they think, but it doesn't mean they can't still win.
