These days I'm loath to fly anywhere with all the goofy security and extra charges everywhere you look, but my experiences with American were nightmares. Most flights never left on time and then they'd overbook and play "Let's Make A Deal" and delay things further. One flight both terlits exploded...not a fun experience (or smell) on a cross-country flight...and another turned back to the gate and we had to wait for another plane. Last summer they cut flights and rose prices that still haven't come down. And the CEO thinks for this he deserves a bonus. Maybe he does...but not with my money.
