Growing up we were of the age where we watched all the Charlton Heston biblical vehicles. Now I can hardly stomach watching him. His acting now appears seriously flawed to me. I suppose his mischaracterization of the gun issue has tarnished him in my eyes. And I have been a hunter much of my life. I don't much care for single issue voters. Besides, his best performance was in Planet of the Apes or Soylent Green.
