Gotta spend money to make money. The corporation I usually work with has been outsourcing to their own division in Canada lately. They pay the same wages there, but they don't have to pay for health insurance for their employees, so it saves them 20% or more. On a 100 mil project that makes a big difference. We can't hope to compete globally with the health insurance situation that we have here (not to mention the 100,000 or so needless deaths that it causes every year).
