Celebrity Culture is by far the most successful mass hypnosis in history. It has destroyed decent politics in the US; hell, there are a myriad of posters here who will spend hours cooing over Michelle Obama's wardrobe and hairstyle or the Clinton wedding.

I don't give a damn what Lady Gaga, RATM, Sean Penn, Miss America, Kermit the Frog or any other pop culture figure has to say about any political issue EVEN when I agree with them. I don't care about weddings, fashion designers or pundits.

It's all bullshit and it's all just another easy to keep people hypnotized.
