CNN seems to be better at human interest stories than detailed news.

I just watched a heartbreaking portrait of people who were foreclosed on and were homeless for a month then bounced around to various hotels just to have shelter. They're basically in survival mode.

What I would have liked to have seen would to see something about their financial situation that led them to this. What kind of loan product did they have? Did someone lose a job that went overseas? What was their experience in getting their loan modified by the servicer?

I think that CNN many times misses an opportunity to discuss the big picture.
