1. I can't provide you links on the competing traditions within Marxism ...
... but can help if you broaden your scope to all socialist traditions (and within that, the various anarchist tendencies).

Also, just as an FYI, you're not going to get a unified position on any of the competing theories within or from without Marxism. You have Council Communists and Autonomous Marxists that are more closely aligned with that of the collectivist and/or communist anarchists. You have the Leninists with which, following Marx, argues for a vanguard party to lead the proletariat in revolution, and to manage socialism during the "dictatorship of the proletariat" (something with which Marxists and anarchists are in deep conflict). You'll have another variant of the vangardists within the Trotskyist groups (but they placed a higher importance on the peasants than your more traditional Marxist variants). Then you have your Maoists that was more in line with the peasant revolt (and vanguardism) - but with "Chinese characteristics."

If you'd like some information on your various anarchist (all within the socialist camp) tendencies (Individualist, Mutualists, Collectivists, Communist, Anarcho-Syndicalist) I'd be more than happy to get you started on your way.
