23. I am 64 & my Mother always talked about how great Eisenhower was - I never understood until recently
and wish I hadn't been so harsh about him in my youth. I now see that he was a pretty darn good person and even though I probably wouldn't have voted for him at the time I can truly say I would have respected him a heck of a lot more then any Repub now! Thanks for the story and the fact that people can change!
