Obama did what Bush couldn't do. He showed him how it was done. He did it without torture, without blowing the community to smithereens, he outclassed him.

If Obama welcoming Bush on this visit gives us just 4 hours of bi-partisanship then its worth it.

While we are partisans, most Americans do not like or appreciate partisanship.

If Obama brings Bush along the critics will praise him, if we find out Bush wanted to join him but Obama wouldn't let him he would be painted as petty.

Obama has nothing to lose in bringing Bush along and everything to gain.

Sometimes we let our hatred of Bush get in the way of what is best for the country.

Political pay back or political disses have no place during Obama's visit to ground zero.
