Oops. I'm editing this OP to direct people's attention to the replies here, too, since I was posting about what was a fake account set up, probably, to force Twitter to verify Walker's actual account. See the replies below for the explanation.

Original OP:

______

http://twitter.com/#!/GovWaIker

He'd had thousands of followers, now has only 18, including some parody accounts and our own PeaceNikki. (I'm sure he removed all of his followers and they just followed him again.)

He has only three tweets there at the moment (he even removed the one about eating chili):

GovWaIker Governor WaIker
Still hopeful that some of the reasonable Senate Democrats can follow our path home.

I was disappointed that we had to begin the process of layoff notifications because the Senate Democrats wouldn’t come home.

He's been mocked a lot on Twitter for the "follow our path home" line -- one tweep pointed out Walker's "path" is a sinking ship.

The third tweet is also unintentionally funny.

He's enjoying "a well deserved night." Not a quiet/peaceful/restful/relaxing/etc night. A night. A teacher could tell him he forgot the adjective that would make that statement meaningful. Oh, wait...

I suppose tomorrow he can tweet that he's enjoying a well deserved day.

It must hard for him to pat himself on the back and tweet even semi-coherently at the same time.

He hasn't been able to get Twitter to give him a verified account, either.

LOL - Twitter Turns Down Verification Request from Wisconsin Gov Walker

I wouldn't be surprised if he gives up completely on Twitter soon.
