25. Ha!
I suggest you reference the midterms 0f 2010 with your hallucinations of a big turnout. The demoralization will be even greater and the turnout even lower. Today, Obama put the first shovelful of dirt onto the grave of his re-election campaign by putting "entitlements" on the table. So in addition to alienating union workers, teachers, the GLBT, the peacniks, we can now add senior citizens with cuts to medicare and ss on the table. I can not in good conscience support someone who betrays these constituencies simply because he is a "Democrat". This is not a football game. I really believe Obama doesn't want to be re-elected-- at least not as a Democrat!

The American people do not elect weak presidents. They will elect strong, mean, idiots over pleasant, smart and friendly every time. The harder the times, the bigger the SOB we will elect.

I don't want a Republican elected, but I see the nation going the way Wisconsin has. Reduced turnout leading to the election of a neo-fascist that will make us all cry about the good old days of Obama. It will lead to mass demonstrations and civil unrest. Obama has proven to be a caretaker not an instrument of change.

Nature abhors a vacuum while continually implementing change. Since Obama refuses to be that agent of change, someone else will institute it, for better or worse.
