How we have been nonviolent under these circumstances is testament to just who we are. I don't get patriotic very easily. I leave that stuff to republicans to spew. But I feel something that feels like patriotism here. A strong sense of duty to the principals of country. And all under the fog of violence raining down upon us while attempting to make this a better world.
