for any hope of continued survival, not taking into consideration that many if not most charities are already overwhelmed, and those who may (or may not) have family and friends who cannot support, shelter, clothe or feed them indefinitely, or be able to provide the funds for many who already have the need for or will sooner or later require expensive medical/dental care or Rx drugs.
