In fact countries with overtly socialist politics (unlike here in the U.S. where we don't have a functional socialist party) do pretty well for themselves. For example, Sweden just beat out the United States in the most recent World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness Report. <...> And on top of that, Sweden has a higher credit rating than the U.S. -- in fact, American can't even crack the top 10! <...> Back in 2008 the U.S. was ranked 14th alongside neoliberal Ireland.... Ireland ain't doin so well now, but I'm sure the U.S. will bounce back! Maybe it's cuz the U.S. gov't spends so much of its money invading and occupying other countries? Just sayin'.

I didn't read any of the other chapters, but if they're as full of snarky canards and bald-faced lies, I'm sure the false friends of freedom will delight in reading them. When you people have your fascist Tea Party government, you may find out it's not as dandy as you thought it was going to be. By the way, make sure to lecture the Egyptians who are being oppressed with U.S.-funded military might about freedom while you're at it! : )
