9. Not an Aftershock
At least according to the USGS's map, it was south of Celebes, a few hundred miles east of the Sumatran quake, and on totally different fault systems.

Usually earthquakes measuring 7 or less don't cause tsunamis...

My brother really got lucky the last time. He decided at the last minute to come home for Christmas and missed the tsunami. I just hope his luck holds.
