Key Phrase Was Dropped from UK Iraq Dossier
by Katherine Baldwin and Janet McBride

LONDON (Reuters) - The British intelligence chief responsible for a pre-war dossier on Iraq's weapons dropped a key sentence from it days before publication after prompting from Downing Street, an inquiry heard Tuesday.

He did it at the suggestion of Jonathan Powell, chief of staff to Prime Minsiter Tony Blair, the inquiry heard.

The offending sentence stated that former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein was prepared to use chemical and biological weapons "if he believes his regime is under threat."

Powell argued that phrase suggested Iraq was only a threat if attacked.

"only a threat if attacked." Just like our CIA thought. Pay attention to England. Blair will have to go before Bush does, and the British seem to know what they're doing.

1. Britain Still Has A Free Press
And members of Parliament do not have their airplanes fall out of the sky after criticizing Blair.

3. Technically Britain doesn't have a 'free' press.
It's not written into the constitution like in the US. The government can still demand the press not print certain things. I'm not sure of the specifics but I'm willing to corrected.

If it weren't for the Hutton enquiry, none of this would have been known.

6. He did a dirty deal with the IRA : 'The Good Friday Agreement',
handing over power via the Northern Ireland Assembly to felonious shites like Gerry Adams and Martin McGuiness etc. Now the Saville Enquiry into the Bloody Sunday incident in 72 is reporting on UK armed forces shooting innocent civilians: General Sir Michael Jackson has had to go back to the Enquiry and admit he had proferred misleading information earlier, about the time he was a Captain and second in command. Recently, the UK press reported on the IRA supergrass codenamed 'Stakeknife' who supplied information on collusion between UK militia and Irish loyalist thugs in various Ulster atrocities. Evidence before the UK High Court shows exactly which Blair cronies were appeased via Peter Mandelson when he was Northern Ireland Secretary, the kickbacks they received and just how much 'collusion' evidence was whitewashed to cover Ted Heath's ass as well as that of Jim Callaghan and Margaret Thatcher.
