New Texan Ted Nugent still 'Madman'

CRAWFORD, Texas - With a slight breeze blowing the ponytail that drapes halfway down his back, Ted Nugent draws his bow and aims at one of a dozen lifelike deer figures he uses for practice until hunting season begins.

....

Nugent may not hang out with Bush when both are in town, but the rocker says he has supported him - for the most part - since his first run for governor in 1994.

When Nugent attended a private Washington party after the 2000 presidential election, Bush hugged him and said "just keep doing what you're doing," he said.

....

White House spokesman Taylor Gross declined to say whether Bush and Nugent are friends but said "the president appreciates the support of any American that feels strongly about his compassionate conservative agenda and his plans to make America a safer, better place."

1. He's relocated to Texas?
But when he did a gig there, he told the Spanish speakers in the audience that they ought to learn English---and was subsequently banned!

The asshole index decreased about 10% that blessed day. Stay in the South, Ted. We rented out your room, sold your furniture and burned down the house just to play safe.

Child Molestation charges?

Watch "Daughters of Rockers" or "Rockers' Daughters" (something titled like that), which I saw about March 04 on VH1 or MTV. Neugent admitting molesting child girls and his daughters concurred. But we have a DA going after MJ when Neugent admits it himself. Just think if the LA DA had a tape of MJ admitting child molestation?

Democrats are assassinated and prosecuted and Republicans are free to corporate thievery and molest.

I'd sell my farm and go home.

The Nuge is nuts...or starstruck...or both if he voluntarily moved to Crawford.

11. Hey Ted
As a Texan and a musician, I say welcome to a place where people can actually play the damn guitar and will see you as the chopless wonder you always were. That distortion-obscured mush you play may go over big in the midwest, but down Texas way we wanna hear you play it clean. And we know you can't.

17. Here's an article I wrote chronicling the Nuge . . .
For those too young or too cool to remember, “The Nuge” is a washed-out rock star who now makes money through shameless self-promotion. If his music were good enough to not have gone out of date within hours of its release, he may have had the luxury to retire in comfort. But alas, he has had to spend the last twenty years or so promoting his own brand of liberal-hatin’, gun-totin’ bravado that gets folks like Sean Hannity randy with excitement.

Crapping His Pants With Glee!

Life has been good to Ted. He’s more famous now than he was in his heyday, when his songs “Yank Me Crank Me” and “Wang Dang Sweet Poontang” zoomed all the way up to the bottom of the charts. Ted has decided to deprive the world of his songwriting gift to promote killing animals and foreigners, but not necessarily in that order.

Here's the rest . . .

21. Although this may be an unpopular opinion here...
I think it’s important to note that there are a lot of Democrats (even Liberals and some moderate Repubs) who are gun owners and hunters. Consequently some of the stereotypical characterizations don’t apply and tend to offend…

A lot of these people despise the NRA and that HORSES ASS Wayne Lapierre because of the “politics first” approach to supposedly representing issues important to responsible gun owners and hunters. Others, who might vote with us, vote Republican based on the gun issue alone.

Really, this is nothing about guns and hunting (although I don't like every hunter I've met, I have met some I genuinely do like that do give a crap about wildlife other than tacking it on their wall).

However, this thread isn't about hunting...it is about one of the most demented humans still breathing air. NO ONE is as clinically insane as Nuge...He doesn't represent hunters and gun owners...he's just generally a psychotic windbag.

And I have to admit I LOVE 'Nuge posts, because I always get a big laugh. He had me rolling in the floor with laughter when he was on Joe Scarborough last year. He thinks he's really smart, but he is a complete nimrod.

especially liked this:

...According to the Detroit Free Press Magazine (July 15, 1990) - He claims that 30 days before his draft board physical, he stopped all forms of personal hygiene. The last 10 days, he ingested nothing but Vienna sausages and Pepsi; and a week before his physical, he stopped using bathrooms altogether, virtually living inside pants caked with his own excrement, stained by his urine. That spectacle won Nugent a deferment, he says. "... but if I would have gone over there, I'd have been killed, or I'd have killed, or I'd killed all the hippies in the foxholes...I would have killed everybody."

24. This Texan knows several hunters....
And quite a few musicians. Ted is a horrible representative for responsible hunters.

And I had the misfortune to hear him play back in the day (not voluntarily). He sucks.

Plus he's a chickenhawk child molester.

32. Nothing necessarily wrong with being a hunter
Or owning firearms, in general. He just doesn't have to be such a sanctimonious dingus about everything in his life, as though we were all thirsting for his "wisdom".

34. Yeah, that Democratic mayor they have/had sucks!
And the Lone Star Iconoclast- the local paper that endorsed Kerry- it sucks too. Yep- that town and everyone in it must be condemned because of two fucking OUTSIDERS who've chosen to relocate there. Neither of them are native to Crawford, and neither are even native to Texas.

But I guess hating Michigan and Connecticut aren't quite as fun, eh?

No need to condemn the whole place because of its most famous residents. Living in Arizona - it's easy to for folks to assume I'm some kind of racist nutjob cowboy, when in reality there's a lot of us here who "get it".

38. I'm sure Ted and Bush get together quite often.
They probably have dinner together at Bush's pig farm. Bush jerks off a horse, Nugent "kills it and grills it," and then they both crap their pants for a week to avoid serving in Vietnam.
