Guantanamo reporters gagged by US
London - The Times reports that:

US military officials imposed strict reporting limits on the first journalists to go to the US-run detention camp for terror suspects since the arrests of a Muslim army chaplain and two interpreters. The reporters were required to sign "ground rules" for coverage that banned questions about the investigations on pain of being removed from the US Navy camp located at Guantanamo Bay, on the eastern tip of Cuba. There are nine Britons being held at Guantanamo Bay - two of whom are on an initial list of six detainees who could be tried by the military tribunal.

1. Let me guess: break the rules, you're charged with "spying"

This chaplain story needs to break open. All he was likely doing was trying to be a good American by exposing the travesty of the George W. Bush Concentration Camp.

2. Maybe this is the way the UK press is going to get inside
the Trojan Horse!!!!

Yesterday's 'Iraq war reporter found hanged' was a good hors d'ouvres, but as yet unlinked with the Valerie Plame story - which itself has been pushed along somewhat today by various UK reportings of how CIA operatives work and recruit plausible informers....

The Valerie Plame story was teased open by the UK press on Monday in the pieces about parallels to the Dr David Kelly story, which in turned was nudged along the line of "Wilsongate not yet Watergate"....

Hope there's a damned good 'entree' coming up from the media: they say that revenge is a dish best served cold.....

4. Exactly what I was thinking
Concentration camp. It is not enough for Bushco. to silent people in this country, now it is spreading throughout...Scary. I wonder how many weeks it took to make the concentration camp look presentable and how many prisoners they couldn't see for "security reasons" (beaten?)
