Democratic leader on DeLay indictment

Pelosi Statement on Criminal Indictment of Majority Leader Tom DeLay.
#

Washington, D.C. - House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today following the criminal indictment of House Majority Leader Tom DeLay by a Texas grand jury:

"The criminal indictment of Majority Leader Tom Delay is the latest example that Republicans in Congress are plagued by a culture of corruption at the expense of the American people."

Looks like Dean and Pelosi are working together :D

6. We can regain some faith that justice is blind and equal if indictments
stream in by the scores.

8. Just wait until the Abrahmoff/Delay connection gets legal legs!!
Delay needs to go to jail for a long, long time for all of his corruption.

Then, Frist....insider trading and lying about it...like what put Martha Stewart in jail.

Then, Rove...outing a CIA agent.

Then boosh, cheney, rumsfeld....war crimes, lying to the congresss,

and FINALLY....

for STEALING THE PHUCKING ELECTION OF 2004 by computer!!!!

Lock 'em all up...every single one of 'em!!!

:kick::kick::kick:

10. Republicans' "culture of corruption",...indeed!!!
It still amazes me how the Republican leadership has gotten away with the most disgusting exploitation of the American people and this nation.

12. Yes!
Get a statement out there fast, and hit the talking points. "Culture of corruption" is catchy, easy to remember, and properly descriptive. Good job, Nancy!

Now, let's see some other House Democratic leaders issuing statements. DeLay doesn't have any chits to call in from that side of the aisle, and he's been a uniformly partisan little shit his entire career. There's no need or call to let him off the hook or to go easy on him.
