Anti-war protesters target Rumsfeld ( Adelaide)
Anti-war protesters target Rumsfeld
One man has been arrested during a rally in Adelaide protesting against the United States Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.

Mr Rumsfeld is in Adelaide for top-level ministerial talks tomorrow.

About 500 protesters shouting anti-war and anti-US slogans demonstrated on the steps of Parliament House.
The group then marched down King William Street to Victoria Square, stopping peak hour traffic.

Police removed and then later arrested one man for disorderly behaviour.
He allegedly clashed with a sole pro-US demonstrator.

The war in Iraq and counter-terrorism issues are set to dominate tomorrow's official talks between Mr Rumsfeld and Australia's foreign and defence ministers at the Adelaide

2. No group has inspired more global activism...
than BushCo. It's astounding - the polar opposite reactions that his crew gets and Clinton administration officials got when they traveled the world. I don't know why anyone lets them into their country - angry, violent protests are guaranteed.
