Bush has already tipped his hand, showing his strategy during the upcoming campaign.

"I will defend my record at the appropriate time and look forward to it.

"I'll say that the world is more peaceful and more free under my leadership, and America is more secure.

"That will be how I'll begin describing our foreign policy," he told reporters this week.

2. And War Is Peace
and slavery is freedom. And we're in the middle of the greatest economic recovery since 1984.

Sheesh.

7. Wow, look at him!

He's looking more and more like Mammy Babs with every passing day. I guess the evil and vitriol that runs through his veins is taking its effect on him.

8. don't worry about it. the cards are marked. his gang has made so many
strategic errors and spent so much time in cya mode that they are extremely vulnerable on all fronts. they will attempt to use fear to control the vote. noam chomsky and many others have been warning about this ever since they started the tactic. however, we've grown so numb already to their nonsensical "color code" (hey, what frigging color are we on now???) and their bumbling/blase approach to actually catching anyone who has terrorized us that we can easily weather it. we must steadfastly focus the spotlight on bush's failures and ignore the whining outcries of the rethugs, who have used up all of their claims to patriotism.

9. holding cards is a fitting expression
Every federal agency is at Rove's disposal, and he will use it.

Including goosing economic numbers, and announcing key victories in the terra war. They've already got a bunch of evildoers caught that they haven't announced yet.

PLEASE run on your foreign policy, Bush. You're gonna get creamed, my friend.

12. Bush, at his writing desk,
Edited on Sat Nov-01-03 11:26 AM by cliss
ponders what he will say about his presidency. He thinks, puts the pencil tip in his mouth... let's see..

"I have created lots of jobs". Scratches that one out.

"I have done a lot to unify the world's religions, in particular the Christian and Muslim faith". Scratches out.

"the economy is improving". Starts to scratch it out, but then remembers the hot news of this week.

"our access to oil is a lot more secure". Leaves that one on the paper.

"I have made the world a safer place". Doesn't know what to do about this one. He doesn't have a lot of sentences left. Decides to leave that one intact.

Well, Bush has certainly given fuel for his enemies with that one. We are practically guaranteed some monumental explosion, or a bridge collapsing, or some attention-getting event to defy what he is going to say. This is as bad as the 'Bring 'Em On" comment, only worse. His enemies thank him for the advance notice.

PS on the photo at post #7: hold your hand over the left half of his face. The right half will tell the whole story.
