"Saddam lawyers seek to try Bush, Blair"
AMMAN, Jordan, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Toppled Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's lawyers said Sunday they are seeking to file a case against President George Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

President of the Jordan Bar Association, Saleh Armouti, who recently joined Saddam's defense team, told journalists the attorneys will seek Saddam's approval this week to file a law suit against the American and British leaders in a European international court.

The lawyers want to try them on charges of illegally invading and occupying a sovereign country.

Armouti made his comments shortly before he and other members of Saddam's defense team left the Jordanian capital, Amman, to Baghdad before the former Iraqi leader's trial resumes Tuesday.

He also said the lawyers will ask the Iraqi authorities to move Saddam's trial from Baghdad to Jordan or Qatar.

2. i have no doubt that both will end up being charged
in one court or another. i recall that cheney or perhaps rumsfeld cancelled a visit to germany i think it was due to being under threat of arrest, the result of a group managing to have him indicted.

5. If there was a trial, Bush would just bomb the courthouse.
Blair would stand by, eating a milk bone.
