Gov. Bush in Ontario to lure seniors to Florida

TORONTO - Florida's governor made an important visit to Ontario Monday to lure its senior citizens to return to the Sunshine State this winter.

Governor Jeb Bush met with members of the Canadian Snowbird Association, Air Canada president Robert Milton and Ontario Premier Ernie Eves.

One-third of all Canadian visitors to the United States travel to Florida and Bush stressed these tourists are important to his state's economy.

Ontario and Florida do about $4 billion worth of trade a year.

Bush told reporters there is nothing inappropriate about luring Canadians away from Ontario, which is hurting from a drop in tourist numbers this summer.

The president's brother complimented Ontario on its similarity to Florida and noted that a special bond exists between the two.

"If I was blindfolded and landed in Toronto and didn't have to go through customs, I wouldn't know I was in a foreign country," said Bush.

I live in Tallahassee, which is in Leon county, a county that did not support him during either election (We usually support Democrats). He has basically waged war on our state employees. Everything that is privatized goes to some big South Florida company.

When he was inaugurated for the second time he refused to invite Tallahassee's mayor to the ceremony in spite of the fact that The City of Tallahassee provided support services for the event.

Again, I hate that fat fuck.

has been spread dangerously thin by the influx of these "snowbirds". It can no longer support wholesale migration of millions of people. Jeb knows this, enough studies have been done, yet he continues to wave the "come on down ya'll" flag. Florida is in deep trouble, and the governor's insistance of ignoring these facts is just another reason to boot his ass out come next election. That Floridians didn't do just that last November, is a testament to the stupidity that abounds in our fair state.
