Poll: Americans nervous about Iran
Bush's approval rating drops to 39 percent

(CNN) -- Americans are nervous about the prospect of a nuclear-armed Iran, but also worry about the ability of the United States and the United Nations to deal with the situation, a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll released Monday suggests.

...

The 1,000 adults who responded to the telephone poll taken between Thursday and Sunday said they fear the Bush administration will be too quick to use military force if diplomacy fails, and at the same time are concerned the administration won't do enough to keep Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

Most respondents saw a high chance that if Iran were to develop nuclear weapons, it would use them against the United States or its ally Israel.

Fifty-nine percent thought Iran would use nuclear weapons against the United States, and 80 percent thought the Iranians would hand them over to terrorists to use against the United States.

3. Who in their freaking right mind
thinks Iran is going to try and drop the bomb on us! It would be suicide.

Paranoid nitwits. I wouldn't trust half this country to babysit my dog (and I don't even have a dog!).

5. Agree, but Iran is the one worth watching - not Iraq
Invading Iraq was the worst move! And look at the lives lost. :grr:

10. Why the US? Why not Taiwan, India, Israel, Pakistan,
and any other company that offshores -- and why is the US protecting corporations that offshore, if that is the case? Corporations apparently won't even spend proper money for security (India's had a terrorist attack already, never mind how easy it would be to go in and take what they want; the black market being lucrative and even the Indian workers know it's more lucrative and there's already been a reported arrest of an information thief in India... so how many haven't been caught?)

What a mess.

Thanks nixon. For starting everything.

They allegedly took the seals off and have da bomb already.

Reports said these North Korean nukes could reach the west coast. I live about 1/2 a mile from the CA coastline. If I see a missile with a red star on it I will let everyone know because I'm not n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.n.nervous.:scared:

Ridgeboy said to get.

I also had that color code threat level widget on my Apple, but it became as predictable as the direction the Earth spins.
