Bush Plans to Urge Settlement Over Kashmir
Bush Plans to Urge Settlement Over Kashmir

Sunday, February 26, 2006

(02-26) 09:24 PST ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) --

President Bush told state television in an interview broadcast Sunday that he would use his upcoming visit to India and Pakistan to urge both sides to resolve the lingering dispute over Kashmir.

Kashmir is divided between the South Asian rivals, yet both claim the Himalayan region in full and have fought two wars over it.

"I will use my trip to urge the leadership to continue solving this issue with the idea that it can be solved," Bush told state-owned Pakistan Television in an interview conducted in Washington and broadcast Sunday.

George hasn't got a "peaceful" bone in his body

He'll do just like Rummy does -

Shake your hand today

And tear your country apart tomorrow
