S Korea PM quits after golf gaffe
14 March 2006

South Korea's Prime Minister Lee Hae-chan has resigned for playing golf when he was supposed to be dealing with a national railway strike.

Mr Lee was criticised by opponents and some newspapers for not overseeing the government response earlier this month.

His resignation, offered to President Roh Moo-hyun on Tuesday, was accepted, South Korea's Yonhap news agency said.

A spokesman for the president said Mr Lee "felt sorry" for the trouble he had caused by acting "indiscreetly".

So this guy resigns for playing golf during an emergency, yet Bush still hasn't been held accountable for eating cake and playing guitar while an American city was destroyed. Go figure.

3. Yes, and Republican news machine ...

In the form of FOX and the two Bozos presently on C-SPAN's Washington Journal who are lying through their teeth and falling all over themselves to comment on what an honorable and righteous man * is...

When I listen to these two intelligent GHOULS I literally astounded at the LIES they spew with a straight face. We need an honest and unafraid media back. :(

On edit: The only positive that evolved from *'s mis-handling of Katrina is that My Inlaws have had second thoughts about being Republicans. More and more people who are in dire straights have stopped drinking the neo-con kool-aid. We are going to have to feel a great deal more pain as a country to wake the electorate up from it's complacency.

5. You should have heard Arlen Specter yesterday
claiming that there wasn't anyway possible that Bush could purposely do anything wrong no less illegal.

:puke:

6. I am getting the impression that both Our Dem and Rep Senators
have a bad case of "inside the beltway" syndrome. They mistakenly underestimate the discontent on both sides of the aisle. Conservatives in my area are thinking less about the social issues that played well two years ago and refocusing on the senselessness of continued warmongering. The bastards in the pentagon are having the Whorsington Post print on the front page that The National Guard is meeting it's quotas. Now I know things are destitute in the heartland but these young men and women's parents are intelligent enough to help their children avoid being killed or maimed.

Our entire mainstream media is cooperating with the beltway power-brokers to feed us LIES. However, the lies are so brazen at this point, THE PEOPLE have reached saturation.

All I can say is that those Diebold and election rigging assholes better do a bang up job because if the Average American is allowed to vote in 06' (and have their vote count), I have full confidence that the Democrats will take back both houses. IMO the Democrats are also corrupt and in bed with the multi-national corporations but because they are not as Anti-social as Right Wingers, the people will have a fighting chance of reclaiming our liberties.
