Sweden more anti-Semitic than thought
Sweden more anti-Semitic than thought
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 14 (UPI) -- A new report indicates a significant portion of the Swedish population has a negative attitude toward Jews.

The poll was conducted by the National Council for Crime Prevention and the Forum for Living History. Some 3,000 Swedes at least 16 years old were queried.

The Dagens Nyheter reports 26 percent of those queried said they think there is a Jewish influence over the world economy, 15 percent said they thought the influence was too great and 14 percent said Jews use the Holocaust for political and economic ends.

About 25 percent of those queried said they didn't like the idea of a Jewish prime minister.

6. Does anybody else feel like there's an anti-EU campaign afoot?
Last week it was "EU is increasingly homophobic" this week Sweden? is anti-Semitic. I swear they want us to believe the rest of the civilized world is as effed up as here. :tinfoilhat:

7. Actually, it's a fact. America has issues still, but we are far ahead of
Europe when it comes to integration.

10. If you say so
but I travel to Europe at least once a year and I pay particular attention to the issues and news, as well as talking to natives, and I've always found them to be very open-minded and tolerant of diversity, whether it's gay rights, inter-racial marriage, abortion, minorities, whatever.

11. US is lightyears ahead of europe
when it comes to integration. I live in Holland the most liberal country in europe, things have changed a lot in the few years.Unfortunatelly we joined the rest of europe.

12. I am sure that some of the former residents of New Orleans
will be only to happy to testify how great it is to live in a integrated country that is 'light years ahead of Europe'.
