FAMILY and friends of Government scientist Dr David Kelly reacted yesterday with anger and horror over his death, days after his quizzing by MPs.
The Commons committee, who had put 179 questions to him, concluded it was "most unlikely" he was the prime source of the BBC journalist accusing No.10 of "sexing up" Iraq weapons claims.
It also said that Dr Kelly, 59, had been "poorly treated" by the Government. One member of the foreign affairs committee suggested the former UN weapons inspector had been "thrown to the wolves".
Yesterday relative Sandra Vawdrey, married to Dr Kelly's brother-in-law, said: "I think the politicians have a lot of questions to answer."
TV journalist Tom Mangold, a close friend, said Ministry of Defence expert Dr Kelly had been left "traumatised" by Tuesday's quiz.
Mangold spoke to Dr Kelly's wife Janice hours after his body was found five miles from their Oxfordshire home.
He said: "She told me he had been under considerable stress, that he was very very angry about what had happened at the committee, that he wasn't well, that he had been to a safe house, he hadn't liked that, he wanted to come home.

I've seen 1 or 2 posts trying to discredit the Mirror as being U.K.'s National Enquirer. On the political stories I've never seen one off. Please notify me if you do. Back before I found forums, CNN had live chat. What pro GOP people said, later I found out their names are Freepers, A. They said the source was garbage. B. The poster/person was not an American.
2. I think the GOP Whore Media could convince us all JFK committed suicide. At least Fineman and Russert would try.
