Gun report spurs lock-down of two North Las Vegas schools

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) - A southern Nevada high school and a nearby elementary school were locked down Monday while police searched for a teenager who they said brought a gun to campus, authorities said.

No students were hurt and police said there was no initial indication the teen, who they said was not a student and was not allowed on campus, threatened anyone with the weapon, said Sean Walker, a North Las Vegas police spokesman.
