Attorney says ex-page willing to cooperate in Foley investigation
Oct 6, 2006

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A former congressional page who works for the gubernatorial campaign of Rep. Ernest Istook has left Oklahoma but is willing to talk to the FBI and the U.S. House Ethics Committee about disgraced Florida U.S. Rep. Mark Foley, his lawyer said.

"He will answer fully and truthfully any questions put to him," attorney Stephen Jones told The Oklahoman for Friday's editions.

The name of his client, Jordan Edmund, became public after an Oklahoma-based blogger identified him when he saw his screen name on ABC News' Web site. The blogger - known as "Wild Bill" from the "Passionate America" site - who discovered the former page's identity describes the computer detective mission on his Web site.

ABC has taken additional steps to make sure no one can access the deleted messages, a spokesman said.

In an excerpt attributed by the blogger as sent to Edmund, Foley allegedly said "strip down and get relaxed."

I'm not sure if this is a new story or not? There are so many different pages involved I can't keep track anymore.

And be sure to bring your Little Blue Blazer so the Republicons can get DNA samples as they INSIST UPON DOING.

They will want to sniff your shorts, too, sonny boy, no doubt.

3. This is the one that says it was all a "prank". He now works for one of
furthest to the right fundie politicians there is and who is currently running for Gov in OK so it may be a case of "CYA" rather then appear to have been really interested in Foley.

Either way... it was illegal and totally inappropriate behavior on the part of Foley, there is still the cover-up issue and from what I understand there are MORE pages involved in this.

5. Yeah, I think it was Sludge Drudge that first "reported" it as a prank
supposedly quoting the young man. After you mentioned it I went back in my DU bookmarks and found the thread. I wonder if there's been a more reliable source on this young man saying it was a prank. I would think that there would be if it was true.
