Bush praises Lieberman in TV interview, draws Lamont's ire

HARTFORD, Conn. -- President Bush and the Iraq war are again front and center in Connecticut's tumultuous Senate race.

In a TV interview, Bush praised Sen. Joe Lieberman for standing firm in his support of the Iraq war, drawing a stiff rebuke Tuesday from Lieberman's anti-war challenger, Ned Lamont. The war has been a key issue in the Senate race.

Bush noted that Lieberman has not wavered in his support of the war, unlike Democrats who voted to support it but have since turned against it.

"One man who's stood by his decision is Joe Lieberman," said Bush in an interview on Fox News Channel's "Hannity and Colmes" show. "He understands the consequences. The Democrat Party ran him out of the party because he stood on principle."

This is the best gift the traitor-in-chief could have handed Lamont!

EDIT: emailed the campaign the story (sure they've already seen it though) and urged them to run with it. Just doing my tiny part to beat that lying, cheating scumbag lieberman!

5. Notice how he refers to the Democratic Party as,
The Democrat Party, Jeb Bush did the same referring to the Democratic Congress as the Democrat Congress, and if I remember correctly Big Brother used subliminal messaging against Al Gore with the word "RAT". Repugs don't miss a trick in the book!

9. It is revealing, that they can twist a fine word like Democrat
Which comes from the root word "democracy", which means rule by the people.

11. Don't let them abuse it. Embrace it!
We ARE Democrats. It is a good word. They are trying to attach a negative connotation to it. Say it:

I am a Democrat.

Louder!

I am a Democrat!

I belong to the Democrat Party! We are Democrats! Democrats are going to kick ass this election!

12. In Bushworld, it's more important to never waver, never consider
new information, than it is to actually do what's best. It's the perception of strength that is important, not actual results.

As an amateur psychologist, I can say that this comes from a life where one's best days were in high school, and whose parents valued trying hard to the exclusion of achieving goals. Fine for some people, not so much for the President of the United States.

13. The "Democrat" Party didn't "run him out"
The ]Democratic voters in Connecticut rejected him. You know, like it's their right to? Part of the voting system? Remember?

Of course, Bush, like Lieberman, cares nothing about the voters' right to choose.
