BBC News: Women's Desks "Harbour More Bugs"
Edited on Fri Feb-16-07 10:32 AM by Broadslidin
"I was really surprised how much food
there was in a woman's desk."

"If there is ever a famine,
thats the first place I'll look for food."

Thank :hi: You 'Clorox' for this bit of information...!!
(Opps, touched that grotesque exclamation key again...)

1. but men's wallets are the worst
not that this is surprising, anything you keep for years and carry everywhere you go in a warm, damp place is going to be messy, right?

2. Good. that means we have stronger immune systems...
from fighting off all those 'bugs'.

I feel like a warrior, all of the sudden. :D

3. You and me both. You have to give your immune system
something to practice on so it can build up those antibodies.

By the way, did you notice the last sentence in the article?

"The study was commissioned by disinfectant maker Clorox."

4. Just don't try to disinfect your desk with the scented Clorox!
It was the featured product on Mouse Print this week.

7. To be a bit politically incorrect...
women are the gathers, men are the hunters. A man's idea of packing for a trip is putting his keys in his pocket. A woman's idea of packing for a trip starts with a list-and the more children, the longer the list.

In the cub scouts-they have to keep reinforcing the mantra-be prepared (it is on caps, supplies, etc , because guys have to be reminded). My girl scouts not only had the minimum; they had stuff I didn't know existed. We are born to prepare.

The article is aimed at women because they know we will feel guilty and clean stuff. Men aren't as likely (from a study which noted women are more likely than men to wash their hand after going to the bathroom).
