Mex Legislators Indict ex Prez Fox
Mex Legislators Indict ex Prez Fox

Mexico, Feb 20 (Prensa Latina) (PRD) Legislators from the (PRD) Democratic Revolution Party and the (PRI) Institutional Revolution noted they are trying to bring ex President Vicente Fox to trial Tuesday for possible responsibility in the explosion of the Pasta de Conchos mine.

Both parties supporters said there is enough evidence to investigate Fox and the ex minister of Labour and Social Security (STPS) Francisco Javier Salazar for being implicated in the death of over 60 mine workers a year ago.

Humberto Moreira, governor of Coahuila state, affirmed last Sunday that Fox demanded to punish innocent people for the sinister tragedy in the coal mine.

The Coordinator of PRD at the House of Deputies, Javier Gonzalez Garza expressed his concern on the local dignitary s declarations adding that there are too many suspicions surrounding the ex President.

The Senate s President Manlio Fabio Beltrones assured if Moreira declaration is true Fox and Salazar must inevitably appear before the court.
