UAE aid security team member missing in Afghanistan

DUBAI, June 13 (Reuters) - A member of a team providing security for United Arab Emirates' aid mission has gone missing in Afghanistan, a UAE official said on Wednesday.

"We can confirm that a UAE citizen who is involved in providing security for UAE humanitarian aid in Afghanistan is currently unaccounted for," the official told Reuters.

No other details on the disappearance were immediately available.
