Franken Raises 1.89 Million in Latest Period
Source: San Francisco Examiner

DFL Senate candidate Al Franken says he's raised $1.89 million in the third quarter of the year, just a shade under his impressive total from the previous quarter.

Franken says he finished the period that ended Sept. 30 with $2.45 million in the bank.

Franken is one of several Democrats seeking to unseat Sen. Norm Coleman, a Minnesota Republican. None of other candidates has released third-quarter numbers. The filing deadline is October 15.

2. How gratuitously provocative of you...
Al's gotten a HELL of a lot more media coverage than Dennis K...

Al would probably agree 100% with Kucinich's positions...

5. Keep your eye on Minnesota. The Repugs are going to go all out to keep Normie in the Senate.
Swiftboating Al will be just the beginning. Normie's tap-dancing furiously to seem "balanced" and "middle of the road" because he knows there are lots of very pissed folks in his state. The position of his lips on *'s ass has remained unmoved.

10. Swiftboating Norm's opponent won't be enough to salvage his prospects.
Coleman owes his senate seat to a tragic aircraft accident. That's all. He knows it, and we Minnesotans know it. In '08, the only thing to crash and burn will be Norm's political ambitions.

12. I donated and so should all DUers. Can you imagine O'Reilly's rant after Franken wins?
That win will be sweet.

13. Not only did Al Franken knock out Bill O'Reilly, but George Galloway
made a complete fool out of Norm Coleman.
