Baghdad - Two people were seriously injured Wednesday when US forces opened fire in a street near the Wehda neighbourhood of southern

Baghdad, independent Voices of Iraq news agency reported, citing a police source.

The US military did not comment on the incident.

Meanwhile, one person was killed and two wounded by an explosion when their car was passing through Osoud village, north of Baquba, witnesses and police sources said.

Separately, one Iraqi was killed in an attack in Baquba's Katoun neighbourhood, the sources added.
