Pentagon confirms U.S. intelligence-sharing with Turkey

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Pentagon confirmed Wednesday that the United States is sharing intelligence with Turkey as that NATO ally hunts down Kurdish separatist rebels along its border with Iraq.

Spokesman Geoff Morrell said military and intelligence communities are assisting the Turks, who have threatened a full-scale cross-border offensive into northern Iraq to fight Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK rebels -- a militant group that has crossed the border into Turkey and launched attacks.

1. 2 things
1) Should not this be a secret?

2) Say good bye to the Kurds as our allies.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused a top Iraqi Kurd leader of "harbouring" terrorists and said his cabinet would on Wednesday discuss economic sanctions against Iraqi Kurdistan.

Turkey has massed troops along its border with Iraq to back its threats to carry out military strikes on Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) separatist rebel bases in northern Iraq.

In an accompanying war of words, Erdogan and other Turkish leaders have been particularly outspoken in their criticism of Massud Barzani, head of the Kurdish regional government in northern Iraq.

"What they (Barzani's followers) are doing there is quite simply harbouring a terrorist organisation," Erdogan said late Tuesday during a reception for Turkey's national day.

3. The Kurds were never American Allies, they were Bushie Allies.
And like most little nobodies the Bushies pretend to befriend in order to use them, the Kurds are now being betrayed bythe same tyrannical monsters who befriended them and betrayed them in 1992.

Thrown away like a bloody Tampax, which to the Bushies, everyone who isn't them is one.

4. Just like we sold Saddam the chemicals to make the gas that killed 'em ..
.. in 1989 or left cold and under attack in the mountians in 1992.

Bush/Cheney & company are cold blooded as they come.
