New York NewsdayFederal Homeland Security agents have interviewed top Nassau political leaders or their representatives in the past few days about alleged voter registration fraud, party and government sources said yesterday.
Two agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, an arm of Homeland Security, visited Nassau Republican headquarters Friday and interviewed the heads of Nassau's Independence and Conservative parties yesterday, sources say.
The agents also stopped at the Nassau Board of Elections yesterday, asking about registration procedures and people who drop off bundles of new registrations, an elections source said.

Nassau Democratic officials yesterday afternoon said agents had not questioned them, but also noted that many party members were campaigning for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton in New Hampshire.Last May, ICE agents acting for the U.S. attorney's office subpoenaed immigrant voting records from the Nassau and Suffolk elections boards.

ELECTION FRAUD ALARM BELLS should be going off in NY's Nassau County. It went overwhelmingly Democratic in '04 and it has a large, new, hispanic population.
I saw an earlier article (can't find the link) where voters have been challenged because names or numbers on their registration forms did not EXACTLY match other government databases, like Social Secuirty and DMVs...
Any woman who uses both her maiden & married names, or who sometimes have them hypenated in different "official" places is at risk of being struck from the roles.
