Iran receives 4th N-fuel shipment

Iran says it has received the fourth shipment of Russian fuel for its nuclear power plant in the southwestern province of Bushehr.

The Nuclear Power Production and Development Company of Iran (NPPD) said the 11-ton shipment was delivered to Bushehr plant on Sunday, IRNA reported.

The third nuclear fuel shipment arrived in Iran on Friday, while the first and second consignments were delivered to the country back in December.

Iran is yet to receive four other shipments based on a timeline agreed to by Russia, as it needs some 82 tons of fuel to launch the Bushehr reactor.
