Miss. man confesses to killing two girls
Source: U.P.I.

JACKSON, Miss., Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Police arrested a man in Mississippi after he allegedly confessed to killing and sexually assaulting two girls, crimes for which two other men were convicted.

Following the alleged confession, Justin A. Johnson, 51, was arrested for the 1990 killing of Courtney Smith, 3, and the 1992 killing of Christine Jackson, also 3, The New York Times reported Friday.

Attorneys for the wrongly convicted men reportedly said investigators fabricated evidence while overlooking other leads pertaining to the cases.

One convicted man, Kennedy Brewer, was exonerated after DNA testing in 2001 but remained behind bars for six additional years because District Attorney Forrest Allgood said he would be tried again.

(This is the 5th and final paragraph) "If they had properly investigated the first murder, the second little girl wouldn't have been killed," Innocence Project lawyer Vanessa Potkin said.

So very many people have been exonerated from America's mass production "justice" system, by far the largest on earth, due to DNA testing for very serious crimes. We should consider how many other innocent people will never be freed because no DNA evidence exists or because their "crimes" were too minor to garner attention. I would guess that, since capitol offenses generally get better representation than burglary, shop lifting, car theft, smoking a joint in Texas etc. that a larger percentage of these people incarcerated are innocent.

It is time to bring justice to the United States, starting at the top.

1. So we should invade now? - and save y'all from urselves . . .
.
.
.
Give Texas and Arizona back to the Mexicans, the whole east coast to Hawaii, the northern states that would like to join Canada, and the rest to what is left over after the Native Indians get at least 50% of the "USA" back to govern themselves.

Time is near where a break-up of the USA similar to what happened to the Soviet Union may be in the best interests of all.

something to think about.

9. It would make me very happy to give the native people their land back.
.
.
.

I am not proud to be a "white man" living on someone else's land.

I am fortunate, in my own way of thinking, that my relatives had no part in the taking of Canada from the natives. My grandparents came over in 1911, during the Scottish famine. That was long after the "deeds" were done.

you have to wonder if people truly understand the meaning of "beyond a reasonable doubt"; otherwise, there must be a lot of lying going on or the defense attorneys suck or SOMETHING - I mean, WTF!!!!!

8. Encourgage more authentic honest confessons
I'd like to know what prompted this man to confess after so many years. If we could get more truly guilty people to 'fess up that would prevent innocent people from taking their places in jail.

11. If we could get honest investigators
who wouldn't fabricate evidence and ignore leads, we'd have fewer innocent people in jail.
