I'm looking . . .

Oh yes, they have! Fox says that the U.S. "TRIGGERED" the new arms race. Talk about framing.

5. Still
Says the same to me.

The Bear feels threatened and is telling its neighbours that they have to make a decision.

Join NATO and control the world. But remember that we are still here. Wonder if NATO has that money to throw around to protect the oil currency?

9. NATO can't/won't even send troops to Afganastan. In reality, NATO is a joke, but it seems like the
Russians are taking no chanced.

7. Perhaps we did trigger it.
This last Spring, I was surprised to see we are pushing the missile defense installations at a time when the military is stretched pretty thin. When Putin made it clear he thought it provacative, BushCo blew him off and pressed ahead.
Condi was hoping she might be getting some help from Russia in the Terra War, Russia is flush with Caspian oil & gas $$$, why push it?
It makes sense to me that missiles, although titled defense, placed in Poland and Turkey, would be seen as a threat.
Clearly, BushCo can't deal with the idea of anyone else making a show of strength. I hope I'm wrong, but Putin is the wrong guy to piss off. Perhaps George can look into his soul again. Actually, George, just play four corners and run out the clock. This is Man vs. Boy, and that's being generous. Putin playing chess, George using the checkers as tiddley-winks.
Jan 09 can't come fast enough.

You mean "Puty-Puut", our good buddy? Bush is playing a game of checkers on his Texas front porch. Putin is playing Double Electronic 3-D Cyber Chess. Puty-Puut will stick those nukular missels up Bush's ass... and ultimatley OUR ass.

10. oh, Mr. Putin....
“attempts of foreign interference in the course of the political battles within Russia are not only immoral, but also illegal.”

....I thought you were our bud?....a little 'interference' never hurt anyone, besides, it's part of the fun!

'...accused the West of military expansion and laid out an ambitious agenda for his successor to restore Russia's economic and military clout...'

....well I never; screw Universal Healthcare and forget about the pothole in front of my house, damn it, we have a new Cold War to fight and win!!
