Huckabee Wins Kansas GOP Caucus
Source: Fox News

Mike Huckabee won the Kansas Republican caucuses Saturday, FOX News projects, demonstrating the lingering rift in the party after rival John McCain was minted the clear front-runner following Super Tuesday.

With 65 percent of precincts reporting, Huckabee had 61 percent and McCain had 24 percent. Texas Rep. Ron Paul had 11 percent.

9. No, actually, it must be DNA. It doesn't work no matter how awful they are.
But, I have no problem at all calling them on their bullshit. :)

10. If, my friend, you mean complicated, then yes, my friends, it um, what were we talking about?
McCain, and his friends, whom are friends with Huckabee, are all friends. At their Convention both might be shown the door, in a friendly way. If such an unlikely thing should occur, our friend McCain might, um, get interesting.

12. Interesting
I just heard from my neocon cousin this morning and she was trying to tell me repukes would rally around McCain. I told her I thought there was a rift in the party and the repukes could still be deciding at their convention. It will be interesting to see which one of us is right.

13. A nation where a person like Huckabee can even be a contender . .
.

.

I'm just at a loss of words to describe my feelings.

Just as well, I suppose. If I could express them,

I'd probably break a rule or three . . .

18. The important part of this story
is that 37,000 Democrats in Kansas caucused and only 20,000 Republicans. And Kansas is (well, used to be) VERY republican. This is Bob Dole country!!

19. Very Cool
It's happening everywhere I think. I live in CA and I believe the winning democratic candidate received more votes than all of the repukes combined. Hasn't there beem a couple of states where the losing democrat had more than the winning republican? I think it's wonderful we are getting out there and voting for our candidates.
