Flowers Putting Clinton Phone Conversations Up For Bid
Source: Las Vegas Review-Journal

Asked about the timing of her announcement coming out as Hillary Clinton continues to slide in her presidential bid, “I don’t need to hurt Hillary. She is doing a fine job of that herself, along with her idiot husband. Karma is an interesting thing. If these two don’t get elected, and they are a team, it will be karma coming back to visit them. It's about time."

11. Those are the actions of a sociopath...
Anyone who has a long-term affair with someone, and then proceeds to throw them under
the bus on the national stage--really has to set aside their conscious, in order to
hurt another human being like that.

I think anyone who is treated so poorly, has the right to feel as if she wants some
justice.

36. Justice? For screwing a married man?
We're very lenient about that here. No actual stoning.

What "justice" do you think she should get for humiliating a family and attempting to wreck a career because she had sex with a guy?

7. Oh please ...
The only reason she is doing this now is the same reason someone sells stock. They believe the value has topped out and if they don't sell now it might lose so much value it won't be worth much. She is only selling it now because she thinks it won't be worth anything once Hillary loses the primary.

8. I can understand her anger....
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 09:11 AM by TwoSparkles
She had an affair with Bill Clinton, who was a cad to cheat on his wife. Then, he lies to America about having
the affair and then launches a campaign to eviscerate Flowers seven ways to Sunday.

I'd be a little angry too!

Geez, you would have thought that Bill Clinton learned his lesson. He did the same thing with Monica: Boink,
get caught, lie, then try to discredit the victim.

I have to say that I am disgusted with Bill Clinton's behavior--which has gone on for years and with many
women, and I am also disgusted with Hillary Clinton for enduring this bullshit. I think both of them are
very dysfunctional people. Bill is clearly a sex addict, and Hillary puts up with it for God-only-knows-why--for
years.

People say she endured it, for political reasons. Well, what about Chelsea? Can you imagine the dynamics between
these two all of those years---fighting, bitterness, anger, repeated affairs, etc.

I stood up for Bill Clinton through the whole Monica thing and I voted for him twice.

After their silence as BushCo decimates our democracy and their socializing with the Bush family--combined with their behavior
in this primary--I think both of them offer nothing but scandal and disappointment to our party now.

..."immediately going into battle mode" as her bio film stated (the female reporter with her was shocked that it was her first response). It's sad on all counts ~ but this woman deserves to be vindicated, and I hope this helps.

Edited on Wed Feb-27-08 02:54 PM by rocknation
Call Monica Lewinsky what you like, but you can't call her a liar. If Flowers has so little self-esteem that she allowed herself to be considered a liar for twelve years, she's as worthless as her tapes are--assuming, of course, they were recorded legally.

16. And where is the anger for the women who KNEW
he was married and went to bed with him anyway. I don't get it. Monica went to DC to seduce him and yet she comes off as some little innocent? Sorry, but it plays both ways. These women knew he was married and started a fling with him anyway, so where is your outrage at that?

A woman broke up my marriage. She did everything that she could to bring him over to her side, she played to every weakness he had. He has a problem with drinking, so she went with him to bars. He liked to play the hero, so she played the victim. She ended up with him. Oh, and she was my best friend at the time.

And, in my generation, which is the same as Clinton's, men always denied having sex with a woman. It was the gentlemanly thing to do, but things have changed, women now brag about having sex. It is also in my generation that people stayed married to work their problems out, I guess that is why divorce wasn't so common back then.

Do I think it's right for a man to cheat? No, my father was a womanizer too, and it was not pleasant. But, every woman who sleeps with a married man, is to blame too. Because she should know better, she should be be deemed just as guilty as the guy who just wants to get laid.

20. You have three people behaving badly...
Flowers, who knew she was screwing a married man.
Bill Clinton, who was cheating on his wife and family.
Hillary, who endured this crap for year--for political reasons and to further her career.

They're all guilty and all behaving badly.

However, Bill Clinton took his bad behavior to new lows when he LIED about the affair on
a public stage, and tried desperately to position Flowers as a lying whore, to the entire
world. His campaign was willing to rip her to shreds and sacrifice her--to protect Bill
Clinton.

Many people have affairs, and no one is saying that any person in this situation is innocent.

However, sacrificing another human being and lying about your own behavior--in order to further
yourself--is sociopathic.

All guilty ~ but not equally so. For those who have worked with or studied sociopaths, it's very clear. But these characters are great at collecting enablers and fans because they are usually amazingly charismatic ~ fascinating stuff, though sadly destructive.

43. What does that say about her. Having an affair for many
years with B. Clinton without regard for his wife and daughter is to be commended? She is no better for it than B. Clinton is. Women who degrade themselves and cause pain for others in the process do not deserve respect. Just another of the things that is so wrong with this country, no regard for others.

In many states, you can record without the other person knowing.

In other states, both party must be aware that they are recording.

14. These scandals have been presented with Bill Clinton...
Edited on Tue Feb-26-08 09:23 AM by TwoSparkles
...as center of attention and Hillary hidden away in the closet.

However, there really is a whole other side to these scandals that involves Hillary Clinton.

I find her tolerance of Bill's decades of boinking bimbos--just as immoral as his boinking.

There has never been an in-depth examination of "Why" Hillary Clinton endures Bill's sex
addiction. They both appear to be two dysfunctional people feeding off of each other's
sickness.

Either she's a complete idiot for putting up with multiple affairs and humiliation (victim), or
she's a stalwart who endured it all for political purposes--which, in my opinion makes her a
heartless opportunist who served her career but ignored the needs of her daughter.

There is no healthy, functional reason that a woman would stay with a lying, cheating man who
treats women like objects--especially when you have children.

Some of this hatred of Hillary, and willingness to blame her for absolutely everything, just goes way beyond reason.

How you figure that Hillary is at fault for her husband's affairs I really don't understand. I don't think you would get many takers if the wife were anyone but Hillary Clinton, who for some reason is totally reviled by some beyond all rationality.
