US: China Buildup Continues
Source: AP

By FOSTER KLUG – 2 hours ago

WASHINGTON (AP) — China continues its huge military buildup opposite Taiwan, further pushing the balance of power between the two rivals toward the mainland's favor, the U.S. Defense Department says in its annual report on China's military.

Although the Taiwan Strait remains stable, China is adding more than 100 missiles a year to the estimated 1,000 it has targeting the democratic, self-governing island that Beijing claims as its own, the report found. Hundreds of thousands of troops are based opposite Taiwan, it said, and hundreds of planes are ready to make good on China's threat to attack should Taiwan formalize its de-facto independence.

"A potential military confrontation with Taiwan, and the prospect of U.S. military intervention, remain the PLA's most immediate military concerns," the report said, referring to the People's Liberation Army, China's military.

After the report's release, Chinese President Hu Jintao condemned Taiwanese independence moves as a threat to China's sovereignty in unusually strong remarks. Hu's comments Tuesday come just weeks ahead of Taiwan's presidential election.

1. If they wanted to invade, this would be the time.
It's not like we've got a ton of free resources to respond with.

3. And, by the way, Walmart paid for the weapons...
by bringing all that crap made by slave labor in China so they could stock their shelves using slave wage workers with no benefits and thus enriching the Walton family so they can finance the right wingers who have sold us out to China, etc.

2. DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE
The US media has been experimenting with our collective responses for 2 years, regarding China. They're bought and paid for propagandists. Following orders from people who want their One World Govt, and what better way to do it than to make the US the bane of all the worlds problems...it's a BANKSTER/Knights of Malta - Jesuit/DESIGN. Bush&daBoyZ are their loyal puppets. Bringing down the whole house of cards.

DO YOUR RESEARCH.

8. Remember when the Soviets were the awesomest, scariest power, ever?
Then they collapsed. Poof. The big warmonger issue died with them.

Red alert, red alert, launch all lobbyists at the military-industrial complex.

4. Paid for by our many purchases of Chinese products.
With our military so dangerously overextended, China probably knows it could retake Taiwan without US military intervention. And to any US threats on other fronts, China can always threaten to dump US debt instruments that Chimpy has so eagerly sold them.
